East-West School of Massage Therapy was founded in 1995, by Elizabeth Lavicka, with the first class graduating 1996. She continued as School Director until 2001 when she moved to Montana. Marilyn McGrath became School Director until 2012 and she was a firm believer in combining the best aspects of Western Medicine & Eastern Medicine. She provided a strong holistic approach in her teaching - to include mind, body, and spirit in bringing healing and well-being to those in need. The school continues this focus in all of its instructional programs.
